There is a program called "French In Action" which can be found on the Internet at this site: www.learner.org. This is a 52 episode video program that is entirely in French except for the first episode which explains the program. There are audio programs you can check out at the library, if your library has them. And check out your local library's DVD section, because some libraries have the French In Action program. Also check your library's CD section for music in French. Some singers include Edith Piat, Patricia Kaas, and Celine Dion has some French albums out as well but Celine is difficult to understand when singing in French. Those are the free ways that I can think of.
