Hello.
I like foreign countries and languages. But I only speak German, English and a little bit Japanese. Are there some people here who are speaking another language and like to learn German? We can teach each other! My favourite is Bosnian, but the others are as good as that! =)
lol i speak german too but also chinese, french, spanish, japanese.
this is the order in which i learned them
lol i forgot english
I want to learn French through internet so can you tell me any web sites about it?of curse i know some sites but they are not useful.can you tell me a useful one that you have experienced it?
Hi! I’m currently teaching myself French as well. Yes, Rosetta Stone is very useful and productive; however, it does get a bit mundane and mind-numbing. I now use several different web-sites in order to keep things interesting.
Here are my 3 favorites:
1.www.bonjour.com
2.http://french.about.com/
3.http://learnfrench.elanguageschool.net/
Best of all these websites are free and #2 and #3 offer online quizzes so you can track your progress.
I’ve also been watching movies in French with English Subtitles, which doesn’t do much for my memorization, but it does help keep me accustom to proper pronunciation.
Later!
I'm 100% Lebanese and my parents are really impatient when it comes to teaching me. My entire family speaks it 24/7 but it's not really easy to learn when they expect you to know it. I understand everything I've been told since I was younger, like basic stuff, but I'd really like to speak it. What's the easiest way to learn?
I took a college course on intro to arabic… below are some of the links that I found helpful!
Good luck!
I'm interested in online language courses, tutorials, translation services, dictionaries - free or paid.
Thanks.

This is for people who have taken Russian before. Please. My parents won't let me get Rosetta Stone. Too expensive.
Dude, Russian is a very complicated language. I would know, I speak it. Every grammatical rule has more exceptions than anything. Different alphabet and letters, different sounds in the pronunciation, totally different sentence structure. Really… you won't learn that much from a workbook because the pronunciation is very tricky, so I'd suggest software, for one. It would be best for you to take a class though. Go to a local community college, they aren't that expensive there.
Apparently not. It is one of the most difficult languages one can learn as a second tongue.
I am learning Swahili and is really hard for me to understand

You can download a tool on http://www.byki.com/
It is free and gives you a lot of basic vocab plus pronunciation. I am currently using it for Portuguese and I love it.
I go to a small private school and they dont offer italian. if i want to go to italy then i need to learn at least a little bit of italian. but i dont know the best way? should i get a computer program or should i take an after school class?
After school class. It's important for you to use the language with another person. A group of people speaking the same language speeds up your learning. Never learn languages on your own using audio tapes. You need the interaction.
If you can speak to a Italian native and learn their culture and cuisine would also speed up your language usage more. Speak and listen to the language all day. Surround yourself with people who speaks Italian. Watch Italian movies, listen to Italian songs.
