For any Filipino programmer / IT student:
What is your opinion regarding with a tutorial software, which teaches the basic programming of C? The medium of instruction is Taglish (that is, combination of Filipino and English languages).
We are currently conducting a survey.
For more information, please contact me: Send me an email.
that would be good.. how i wish we have manuals in programming and networking that's written in Taglish..
but, not all tutorial software are written in taglish and students may get trouble in learning from an English tutorial when they get used to taglish tutorials..
if you think that, that tutorial software would be better than the English one, that's cool. learning would be easy for filipino it students..
My son has taken up german as 2nd language in school. needs help in sentence formation and grammer
You could do a search for "before you know it 3.5 lite" .
It's free to download and I think you get one free set of language lessons.
You can get perl and documentation at http://www.perl.org

I've noticed that there seems to be some trends in Czech and Russian grammar, and since Czech is a Western Slavic language, and Russian is an Eastern Slavic language, does this mean they are quite similar coming from the common ancestor of Old Slavic?
Yes, it will give you an advantage, but only if you know Czech at an advanced enough level. Words don't always match, and as far as I know the rules for placing stress on syllables seem to be different. Among the Slavic languages, Czech is one of the farthest from Russian and you would have a better advantage if you knew Ukrainian or Belarusian. If you don't know Czech, than it's kind of pointless to study two foreign languages at the same time with the goal being only to learn one of them.
I'm going to Brasil for 2 weeks, and I want some sort of guide, like a few page printout, to guide me through the grammar and words while I'm in the country surrounded by native speakers.
I've already done a google search, and found nothing I liked.
I may not have access to computers there. But i could download stuff to an i-pod.
Thanks for helping!
Get a Boyfriend while you are in there. A patient one
I really want to learn Japanese, but my school doesn't offer it as a language choice.
Does anyone know a clear, concise, user-friendly website that could help me learn? Thanks.
The following website is pretty good. You can get lots of information and they are stuff ready for different ability levels.
http://www.japanesepod101.com/
If you have an iPod, you can get their podcasts via itunes as well.
You can probably find more sites like that at

I want to learn French through internet so can you tell me any web sites about it?of curse i know some sites but they are not useful.can you tell me a useful one that you have experienced it?
Hi! I’m currently teaching myself French as well. Yes, Rosetta Stone is very useful and productive; however, it does get a bit mundane and mind-numbing. I now use several different web-sites in order to keep things interesting.
Here are my 3 favorites:
1.www.bonjour.com
2.http://french.about.com/
3.http://learnfrench.elanguageschool.net/
Best of all these websites are free and #2 and #3 offer online quizzes so you can track your progress.
I’ve also been watching movies in French with English Subtitles, which doesn’t do much for my memorization, but it does help keep me accustom to proper pronunciation.
Later!
